Meowdy and welcome! I’m completely Earnest and I’ve been serious far too long. My stories are a little like me, silly, unserious and sometimes, if I do it right, unsettling. The world needs a little silly to balance the serious, a little unserious to balance out the important and a little unsettling to make us appreciate the settled.
This blog contains the works I made in university (2022-2025), short stories, critical essays and the occasional bit of poetry. It’s a place for people like me. People who love stories, care about writing and want to break apart the craft, understand every single word, every piece of formatting, how authors intent can weave something beautiful, or monstrous.
