What an amazing accomplishment
To be so refined.
To wait and be patient
To dress so elegant
What an awful appearance
To claim refinement
To claim patience
To cry and caw
You see this as accomplishment?
This elegance masked
Their only cries claims
Claiming shiny objects for the nest
What is accomplishment?
If this great effort
All fails under you
What would work
What effort would it be
To claim some talent,
One to build them up
Singing, dancing, walking.
Can’t you see they do?
AND, substance
Shallow nests will crumble
But build a nest on words
Build a nest on books
That shall not fail
